I'm using the TQRPreview component to create a custom preview for the reports.

I want to add the ability for the user to select a printer. I've haven't found anything in the documentation at http://www.quickreport.c...Page.aspx?WebInfoID=678

How can I do this?

(And just to answer the questions that are probably comming, the normal preview has many nice features, but has too many other options that would confuse the users.)

Thanks

You could copy the code from the standard preview.

Matbe it would be easier to start with the custom preview we provide, which is a copy of the standard preview.
You could then remove the features you don't need.

There links now in the Advice and Tips sub-forum

I really do need some help.

I need to allow the user to change the printer on a custom report preview.

I don't know what setting to change. Is it on the preview component or the report component?

Anybody?

This appears to do the trick:

ReportPreview->QRPrinter->PrinterIndex = PrintercxComboBox->ItemIndex;
