This applies to the TQRImage control, where the picture is loaded at
design-time, or in an event at run-time.

1. In order to get high-quality in the PDF document, the original image must be
larger than the area it will be displayed in on the report.

2. For example, if the image control is 200x100 pixels, and the original image
is 400x200 pixels, then the image in the PDF document will display without
degradation at zoom 200%.

3. To implement the feature, set the QRImage.Stretch to false, and the QRImage.Tag property to 999.


Images from database fields


Instead of using a TQRDBImage, use a TQRImage and load the field in the 'beforePrint' event of the band.

Something like

QRImage1.picture.assign( quickrep1.dataset.fieldbyname('blob-field') );
